19th Century House in Killiney, Co. Dublin

The Brief

This was a solid stone building built in the 1800s. Retention of the original façade and original detailing, to achieve an A rated BER and elimination of damp issues due to water ingress.

The Soltherm solution

Provision of 200mm of EPS insulation. An Acrylic Premium render which led to the illumination of moisture with the solid stone walls. The Soltherm EWI solution was a major contributor in achieving the A rated BER Certification awarded to this house.
